👨💻DEVELOPER OF THE WEEK👨💻
Meet our own Henry Kariuki, a young software Engineer at ngeni . “I always loved tech so I took the challenge and ventured into a totally new field" .His areas of expertise include backend development, trading automation,web3, Geth setup, and smart contract engineering.
Prior to ngeni he was working at PryceML as a junior software developer where he focused on backend integration of BI tools, research, and documentation of emerging technology.
“When I joined Ngeni I was a mobile developer with no experience with Blockchain development. The road to becoming a blockchain developer wasn't easy, it took sweat and a lot of learning.
The program at ngeni exposed me to an intensive and structured way of learning where we were involved directly in building products that went to production hence having that hands-on experience. Looking back, I am grateful for the steps I took despite the challenges along the way.
I always say unless you move nothing happens and it's only in the unknown where your future lies. The road ahead is wide but every day is about unlearning and upskilling for me. Hoping to be a better programmer to inspire others as well.”
Henry enjoys dancing and singing. He is also an avid reader so you can catch him engrossed in a book.
